His most perfidious film was the treacherous anti-Semitic propaganda film Jud Süß - required viewing for all SS members. This documentary is an eye-opening examination of World War II film history as well as the story of a German family from the Third Reich to the present; one that is marked by reckoning, denial and liberation.

Upon verifying the massive contagion inside the ship, all the countries refuse to receive it, except Uruguay. The country that had implemented an operation to repatriate thousands of citizens and resident migrants, was the only one that provided humanitarian aid to the Greg Mortimer cruise ship that, at the time of docking in the port of Montevideo, was collapsed by illness and anguish. A story where empathy, solidarity and organized action were key to containing the impacts of the disaster.
Presence of Mind
Presence of Mind Presence of Mind deals less with physical space and more with psychological and mental space. The film is simply a series of shots of people and their surroundings. Some of the shots are synchronous sound, some are non-synchronous sound, some are silent and some are just sound without picture. My experience is that synchronous sound situations create a mental reality or presence which is greater than the sum of its parts. In other words, the synchronous combination of picture and sound forms a spatial reality which is uniquely present. Presence of Mind deals with variations of this spatial presence created by sync sound film.

Lari Ka Arab The humorous story told by Halimoen's film production about life was difficult during the malaise, when the Dutch East Indies was hit by the economic depression that hit the whole world. The film humorously depicts the life that went awry from the main character. At home it is wrong, going out is wrong, this is wrong, so wrong. So he decided to just run away to Mecca. But with a cynical intent, that there may only be a peaceful life because it will only worship, not thinking about the economy. Originally the title was Lari Ka Mecca, because it was forbidden by the film commissie, this is because the name Mecca is a holy place for Muslims that cannot be played with. So the title was changed to Lari Ka Arab, to keep it attractive.
