Despite the stylish pictures with a French taste, the story deepens from ennui to horror. The first half of the film, "the sense of alienation peculiar to a period when one is not young enough to be called a girl, but young enough to be called a woman", becomes "a scary story in the style of modern folklore" at the end.

生活 If you're crying alone today, may you laugh with someone tomorrow? It's the end of November and Ayumi, a fourth-year university student hasn't received a job offer. She meets her childhood friend, Chiharu, at a company interview as the last chance. She tells her that their mutual friend Iwata is in a mental hospital. Ayumi is disappointed to hear that her boyfriend Takuya, who lives with her, is working at the end of the year and beginning of the new year, but she receives the results of the exam. Meanwhile, Chiharu gives Iwata a sketchbook that she was given before she was hospitalised, with a gift in return. It's not all good, but it's not all bad either. The film is a series of episodes that subtly capture the reality of life. The film digests a timely topic without losing its newsworthiness and makes it a film that everyone can relate to.
The Woman in Room 13
The Woman in Room 13 Laura Bruce is married to John Bruce, police commissioner. She discovers her husband is enjoying a drunken revel with another woman, and vows she will obtain a divorce. After doing so she weds Paul Ramsey. His employer, Dick Turner, a libertine, offers his a responsible position in the west, and she faces a long separation. Ramsey later learns that Turner is interested in his wife and engages a man to protect her, who happens to be her former husband.

A man who resists but continues to be an accomplice with infinite tolerance. Is it the man or the woman who is desperate to keep his partner in line? It is the woman's brother who comes between the frustration and tolerance that seems to swell endlessly. But as he makes her apologise at the graveside of her parents, he also commits the sin of lying in order to keep his love alive. There is very little expository dialogue. There is very little exposition in the film, but it is enough to convey the feelings and circumstances of each character. The structure, the script and the acting are the foundations of a film that succeeds in depicting the birth of a new love triangle in a cool and realistic way.

But it's about two old women, a wizard and a fortune-teller, who are fighting each other. The fortune-teller's granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood, dies of the plague as soon as she comes out - and she's not the only one. But that's where her success comes in. Dug up in the middle of her decay by a wizard, Little Red Riding Hood is resurrected as a zombie with the brains of a goat. Her only order is to kill her grandmother, but when she learns the smell of blood and the pleasure of killing, there's no stopping her. This is an immoral fairy tale for adults, animated with exquisite models. The puppets, with their European gloom, match the content of the story too well.

The man is convinced that she is the answer to his life... The story could be seen as a dream of a Peter Pan man who wants to be a boy forever, but thanks to the characters and good performances of the lead actors, it is successfully made into a physical reality. The result is a bittersweet, "slightly older" boy meets girl story.
