Bread and Poetry Majid who is working in a bakery, sends his poem to be published in a journal. He always dreams of becoming famous. Majid finds some pages of the book "Les Miserables" and becomes interested in reading it, but he has no access to it. He picks a book from the library of his brother-in-law and tries to change it with the book "Les Miserables" in the public library. He is not aware of the cheque of his brother-in-law between some pages of the book. This is a starting point for some other adventures which put Majid into trouble.

Neben den Gleisen Boizenburg is a small town on the Elbe River in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the middle of the station forecourt stands an aging kiosk, open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. It also serves as a regular hangout for shift workers from the slaughterhouses, unemployed people, taxi drivers, and retirees. At the end of 2015, thousands of refugees arrive at the train station, wanting to go to the nearby initial reception center. The regulars, who normally drink beer and watch soccer here, begin to discuss politics and reflect on their own situation. We encounter a special moment where they give us insights into their everyday lives and talk about their frustrations and hopes.

Enoken's Yaji and Kita Enoken's anachronistic take on the beloved (and already very funny) Edo-period novel "Shank's Mare," aka Tōkaidōchū Hizakurige, in which Yaji and Kita, two plebeian nobodies, have all sorts of strange and colorful encounters on the long road from Edo to Kyoto.

Enoken's Mori no Ishimat... A typically modern take on the well-known Naniwabushi character (and real life 19th-century gangster) Mori no Ishimatsu, whose proverbial stupidity Enoken takes to farcical extremes.

Enoken's Kurama Tengu The legendary ninja Kurama Tengu (Enoken) uses his superhuman powers to help free a band of street urchins from their Fagin-like master. The film's incredible climax, when Enoken fends off dozens of men attacking with ladders and handcarts, brings to mind a slightly less dextrous Jackie Chan.

The Forest Passage Upon entering an abandoned house in the middle of the night, a girl and her father discover the body of a man who resembles the father. Their initial reaction is to flee the scene, but they decide to stay and begin to investigate the reasons behind this strange coincidence through a notebook found next to the body that is filled with writing.

Rukov - the portrait of ... One of the most outstanding personalities in the Danish film industry is Mogens Rukov, co-writer of Thomas Vinterberg's dogma-film The Celebration (Cannes, 1998, winner of the Jury Price) and head of the Department for Scriptwriting at the Danish Filmschool. Flemming Lyngse has made a film with rather than about Mogens Rukov. This is a film with a moving man - professionally as well as personally.

Ciudad Maya In the city of Merida, Mexico, a group of young urban Maya, operate mysterious technological instruments to do some sort of archaeological survey of a ruined site. However, the monuments they are scanning are not ancient, but modern replicas. The film walks on the limits between science fiction and documentary to deconstruct the imaginary around Maya culture and their identity today.

Three Conversations on L... The film is a double portrait with children in the background. The grandmother and the mother differ in their moral assessment of in vitro fertilisation, which is important inasmuch as two grandsons were born thanks to this method. The convictions of one of them cannot be reconciled with the decisions of the other. The toughening of the older woman’s position, in particular, locks them both in an ideological clinch. But the difficult conversation about the possibilities of reuniting love, faith and ideology is still going on.
