Wake Up, Arezu! Moments after the earthquake, a young teacher in a village outside the town of Bam, scrambles from under the rubble and finds out that her colleagues has died in the quake. She sets out for the town of Bam to get rescue aid for the villagers, but to her amazement, she discovers that the main tragedy has occurred there. Cries of help are heard from every side and the hospital is filled with the injured and the dead. On the recommendation of a cleric, she goes to the mortuary to help with the washing of the dead bodies of women. A prisoner, who managed to get out after the prison building is destroyed asks the teacher to wash the bodies of his dead mother, wife and child, Arezu.

Fireworks Chiezo Kataoka plays a cowardly samurai, whose honor is on the line when it becomes necessary to avenge the murder of his father. The culminating duel takes place on a night of fireworks.

Min storebror Charlie A single father lives with his two young adult sons. Charlie, the older son, is mentally disabled and usually sneaks on his brother and his girlfriend. It causes problems for the already fragile family.

Gangway to a Future In the summer of 2018, a group of inexperienced idealists in the port of Rotterdam prepare for their voyage to the Mediterranean where they will pick up boat refugees for an NGO. The former trawler is taken out of service and refitted. Plenty of discussions take place before restoration of the aging ship: how many doctors and nurses will staff the former fish store, now a treatment room? And should there be a cold store, for the deceased?

Filmed in Karasjok, Norway - 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle, BBC Four rigs a traditional reindeer sleigh with a fixed camera for a magical journey across the frozen wilderness of the Arctic. Following the path of an ancient postal route, the ride captures the traditional world of the Sami people who are indigenous to northern Scandinavia and for whom reindeer herding remains a way of life. Deliberately unhurried, the rhythmic pace of the reindeer guides us along an epic two-hour trip that takes us over undulating snowy hills, through birch forests, across a frozen lake and past traditional Sami settlements.
