Love with the Perfect Stranger

TRANS*CEND: A Journey fr... In January of 2016, a dozen members of the Memphis transgender community began meeting for a weekly story circle facilitated by Elaine Blanchard. The program, based on the format of her award winning Prison Stories series, was a time for sharing, healing and enlightenment. Thanks to the generosity of The California Institute for the Contemporary Arts, filmmaker Shelby Fuller Elwood documented their journey. All people have a story to tell, and all people long to be heard, respected and valued for who they are, and what they have experienced in life.

Where’s George? The story of George Caputo, a seventeen-year old soldier who, refusing to serve in Vietnam, took refuge in the Columbia University Chapel.

Laughing Matters... More... Laughing Matters...More! is a reality-based romp that blends the routines from four of lesbian stand-up comics with personal interviews. It features Elvira Kurt, a Second City alum named Canadian Female Comic of the Year and writer for Ellen DeGeneres; Sabrina Matthews, a regularly featured performer on Comedy Central; Renee Hicks, the first African- American woman nominated Best Female Stand-up at the American Comedy Awards; and the Southern-Baptist-lesbian-mom-turned-crossover-comic, Vickie Shaw. This film takes a "reality" approach to showcasing the comics, capturing their on-stage performances, and their personas off-stage in behind-the-scenes footage, one-on-one interviews and recurring segments where all four converge for spontaneous and improvised discourse.

Kiss the Boys Kiss The Boys is a story about Sam (Kurt Sinclair) who starts off as a very successful plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills but after his wife finds out a dark secret about his past, strange things begin to happen to him. Sam's world gets turned upside down when Scott, a teenager he fell in love with and then killed in 1986 comes back from the dead and begins to take full control over Sam's body, mind and soul. Sam quickly finds himself involved in Satanic rituals that eventually lead him straight to death row for killing off some of LA s most beautiful male escorts. Sam uses Scott as an elaborate excuse for freedom, while Jackie (Bethany Marie Wilson), a special investigative reporter finds the clues, alongside the FBI that will save the fifth one Tony before it s too late. Sam's life as a serial killer gets revealed to the world along with some very strange, dark secrets from his past.
