Ballad of Old Weapons

Muthirai Muthirai movie revolves around a tech-savvy criminal and his friend who is a smart-con guy. They (Nithin Sathya and Daniel Balaji) together plan and execute frauds of various kinds, including cyber-crimes. The film sometimes becomes hilarious too. A political assassination plan is also unfolding parallel to the story line, which is some way related to these youths. The movie involves perfect blend of action, romance and humour.

Navashakthi Vaibhava Ramkumar and Shruthi who make lot of oaths for the betterment of their children (Master Ramprasad and Kumari Arpitha) and once the children become a pair of very talented singers, they forget everything about their promises. It is only when the kids suffer through a crucial illness that they are reminded of their oaths and the couple set out on a pilgrimage along with their children to all the nine goddesses – Kollur Mookambike, Badami Banashankeri, Mysore Chamundeswari, Belgaum Yallamma, Horanadu Annapurneshwari, Katilu Durgaparameshwari, Annamma Devi of Bangalore, Shringeri Sharadambe, Gokarna Parameshwari. There are also villains in the film in the form of the other family members who are bent upon killing the children.

Like Chef, Like God Thodorakis, the film's hero, has a happy go-lucky attitude about life and women, but this all changes when he is forced by his uncle to train as a chef. He soon becomes a top chef and is so impressive that he enters a 'secret society' for chefs, who battle it out to see which one is the best. To his detriment he becomes so obsessive that the women in his life find him obnoxious and nothing seems likely to save him until the news of his patron's death slaps him in the face like a cold fish. In the end, the shock reminds him to keep his life in perspective.
