Nineteen-year-old Viorel lives with his mother in a remote Moldovan town. He has no great ambitions nor any illusions about life. He and his pal Goos earn a little cash through illegal activities, and Viorel is helping him fulfill his dream of flying. His mother tries to convince him to find a decent job. Eventually, Viorel begins taking control of his life.

Letter from Death Failing to prove the urban legend of Mbak Rohanna's ghost at Virgin Bridge, Yogyakarta, makes Zein (Endi Arfian) have to propose other haunted places to Kinan (Carrisa Perruset) to make content on their YouTube channel. One time, Pasha (Omara Esteghlal), a student from the same college with Kinan and Zein, carries out a gruesome action in the middle of the city of Yogyakarta and claims to get a letter from the death. The letter threatens, if Pasha does not do what is ordered in the letter, then death would pick him up. From that letter, Kinan and Zein investigate Gama Plaza, an old building that had been used as a place of suicide by their campus students several years ago, Darius (Jerome Kurnia). When they begin the investigation, the next letter arrive again to one of their campus student, and this time it takes a life. Kinan believes that this is a premeditated murder, but Zein argues that everything that happens is related to the spirit of Darius.

Cinematographie This structuralist experiment breaks through the traditional sequence of frames and uses double exposure to shed new light on the filmstrip. Cinematographie (literally "writing with light") consists of flickering black-and-white footage of almost unrecognizable trees that appears crosswise onscreen. The film is silent with the exception of two sounds at the beginning, and the damage to the image grows increasingly intense: we see cables, hairs and dust distorting it all. Occasionally, a bleak sun shines through or human silhouettes appear in an ever faster flickering. The Austrian filmmaker Philipp Fleischmann built a circular camera obscura construction in a forest, 360 degrees around, in which the light enters through a small hole and shines on light-sensitive material. Inside the camera, he placed two 16mm filmstrips side by side: one was exposed to the world outside the camera obscura, the other to the world inside the construction.
