Two young couples, Lisa and Ryan and Jack and Cindy, head for the hills for a long, intimate weekend at a remote country house. Things are looking steamy despite the distraction of Ryan's deadline and his general inhibitions. But soon a fifth person arrives at the house, saying she had arranged to meet a man there. He arrives with a mysterious case, a raging temper, and suspicions. Could he be the escaped convict that they heard about on the radio news report?

Slightly embarrassed, he gingerly walks around his stepfather sleeping off the drink, soaked his own urine on the kitchen floor. Stepan talks cheerfully about the horrific events of his life, or shares his deeper thoughts.

German troops were marching, and I found that I could duplicate the drumbeat by typing “mar mar march.” Had not the broadcast of this film taken place while I was typing, I would never have thought of this concept.
