Nakatuenita – Respect Nakatuenita – Respect examines an extraordinary sweep of history and cultural change of the Innu of Labrador from their “settlement” in the 1960s to the present day. The Innu Nation were among the last nomadic people in North America, with a vast territory called Nitassinan in Labrador. Pressured by the Church and government they were settled into communities. Then the Churchill Falls Hydro Project flooded vast areas of their land without permission. Now the Innu are taking back control of their governance and their resources.

Mad Mad Mad Mad Filmy Wo... Mad Mad Mad Mad Filmy World was developed in collaboration with a large cast of staff and patrons of the Capri Cinema in Saddar, central Karachi, Pakistan. Shot entirely on location in the cinema, using the entrance halls, projection booth, and cinema hall, the film is as much about Capri Cinema and its converging communities of patrons and staff, as it is about the city of Karachi where this single-screen theatre has stood tall since 1968.

Robert Cordier’s movie about medicine and the body made 20,000 faint at the Montreal world’s fair. Ghost Artist unmasks it as an avant-garde work for the masses inspired by collaborations with legendary artists like James Baldwin, Andy Warhol, Allen Ginsberg, Jean Genet and Salvador Dalí. Ghost Artist is in the same documentary family as Searching for Sugarman and Finding Vivien Maier.
