Red Pomegranate Anar marries Marat and lives with him and his son Adil. Pregnant Anar requires care, as she is anemic and at a high risk of miscarriage. When Marat hastens their move to the countryside, Anar finds herself in unfamiliar surroundings. Then Marat leaves to ask Anar′s father for a job and goes missing. Soon his creditors visit Anar. To make matters worse, Anar learns that Adil was raped. Now she begins a lonely fight to protect Adil.

Cafe Americano The adventures of a delusional young film director.

Memoryland The film opens with the death of a mother. Although her heartbeat stops, her consciousness continues worrying about her son and blessing him. Her neighbour digs a grave near the house in the field for her, but the son insists on cremation. Because he does not receive much in the way of inheritance, he must be careful budgeting the funeral. Another man is killed by an accident at a construction site. His wife suddenly becomes widowed, but decides to go to her husband’s hometown to bury him and comfort his soul. His relatives, however, doubt her sincerity, as she is still young and beautiful.

Hanadon: Uri Avnery Uri Avnery is the man who Israelis have loved to hate for over 50 years. For the first time the cinema gets to grip with the complex, contradictory and controversial figure of "the last Mohican of the radical left", the veteran peace campaigner and prominent journalist. It is a depiction of an uncompromising perpetual warrior who has paid a high personal price for his total loyalty to his beliefs. The film shuttles between past and present, between Avnery's public persona and the psychology of his inner world. It combines archive footage with present-day scenes to produce a well-rounded portrait, while simultaneously examining the very question it has set out to answer: how does one create a cinematic portrait?

Nimiia Cti... Inspired by experiments in interspecies communication and aspiring to connect with a world beyond our consciousness, nimiia cétiï documents the interactions between a neural network, audio recordings of early Martian language, and footage of the movements of extremophilic bacteria. Here, the computer is a medium, channeling messages from entities that usually cannot speak. However, it is also an alien of our creation. A collaboration with the artist Jenna Sutela as part of her n-dimensions artist-in-residency at Somerset House Studios on which I acted as mentor, with Damien Henry from Google Arts & Culture.
