The Pamela Smart Trials:... The 1991 Pamela Smart Trial was one of the most sensational crime trials. The case received international media coverage due to the combined elements of sex, violence, and rebellious teens. It was the first time a murder trial was broadcast live. TV Journalist Hedda Muskat who was working for a news network approached Pamela and promised her that she would finally be able to tell her side.

Wall Piano ‘Wall Piano’ takes us into a daydream of a child who lives under the shadow of a separation wall. Artists Asma Ghanem (Palestine), Christopher Marianetti (USA), and Alexia Webster (South Africa) worked with a group of children living near the Qalandia checkpoint in Ramallah, Palestine, a frontline of the West Bank conflict. The idea for this short film came from 12 year-old ‘Nada’, featured in the film, and is scored by Christopher Marianetti.

A Dog's Life A Dog's Life examines how our canine companions perceive the world - from the moment they take their first morning walk to the time they curl up at our feet to go to sleep. We accompany Daisy, a Jack Russell Terrier, through an average day and on the way discover that, while dogs are not miniature humans, they are amazingly well adapted to life with us. But how well do we know them?

Teacher's suitcase Tsukiko is in her late 30s and living alone when one night she happens to meet one of her former high school teachers, 'Sensei', in a bar. He is at least thirty years her senior, retired and, she presumes, a widower. After this initial encounter, the pair continue to meet occasionally to share food and drink sake, and as the seasons pass - from spring cherry blossom to autumnal mushrooms - Tsukiko and Sensei come to develop a hesitant intimacy which tilts awkwardly and poignantly into love.
