Papobo In the city of Havana in 1964, Papolo, son of a free slave, decides to give a Christmas toy to his sister. He discovers the city and its inhabitants but also the worrying forest. He will get involved in different situations confronting the reality of those times.

After hearing that some families were homed on the remote Isle of Bute, filmmaker Laura Wadha decided to make a film about Mounzer, a Syrian barber who settled in a little Scottish village with his family.Haunted by the ghost of war, he is trying to build a home for himself and his children. The barber shop welcomes locals and soon the community adopts them.

The smell of candles THE SMELL OF CANDLES is a short film about the emotional boundaries that bind the relationships between siblings. Sara and Gabriela have long lost contact with each other. They finally meet for their mother's anniversary. Amongst the present silences and the confrontations from the past, the two sisters rediscover their intimacy in an unexpected surprise party.

Ascending Ballard Down The film explores the unlikely relationship that exists between the small seaside town of Swanage in Dorset, and Surrealism. This relationship was formed by visionary English painter Paul Nash who lived in Swanage during the mid to late 1930s. As well as paintings and photographs, Nash recorded his fascination with this particular landscape in a number of essays, which form a major part of this film.
