The Separate System Initiated as a collaborative project with prisoners (most of them veterans of the armed forces) the film explores the interconnections between the military, spaces of internment and civilian life. The artist questions how we as viewers are implicated in these spaces, while also examining the notion of work, a seemingly everyday activity familiar to us all.

Words Words Words Are De... This video investigates the complex relationship between language and cultural identity in our contemporary times. The starting point is the artist's recollection of learning English: words, memories and images merge with artificial landscapes, and flow in vague yet coherent sequences that feel as natural and unsettling as a dream.

Phlia... An Athenian security guard seeks to escape the crushing routine of her night shift. Playing table football or listening to love advice on the radio just doesn't cut it, so she introduces a more intimate relationship into her life. Intensely visual work, full of surreal shots of empty meeting rooms, shabby elevators and peeking security cameras.

Alpinist - Confession of... I am a cameraman specialized in shooting in high altitude and extreme condition. I participate in four sponsored expeditions to the Himalayas from 2009 to 2013 to shoot TV documentaries. Having observed success, failure and death of aspiring alpinist in the series of life risking challenges, I decide to make a film about the other side of the alpinist that has not been seen on TV.

Frieda - Coming Home A young American couple, Mark and Olivia, are expecting their first child. Before that, they want to make their dream of a trip to Europe come true. They book private accommodations through an Internet portal and embark on their 4-weeks-journey. On their arrival in Germany Elisabeth picks them up at the airport. She is the daughter of the landlady of Mark and Olivias first accommodation, a tiny house, located at a beautiful lake, in the hometown of Olivia's great-grandparents. They learn that the 82-years old landlady is in the hospital and dying. Elisabeth drives Mark and Olivia to the house. And then the two young people spend their first night in Germany. A night in which Mark gets to know the owner in a special way. The next morning, it is strangely quiet over the house by the lake. And no one will know so quickly what happened a few hours ago.

Northern Drift Europe's far north, where Russia and Norway meet, is one of the least populated areas in the world. Nevertheless human intervention is visible in almost every breathtaking vista Alexis Destoop recorded. Cold, calm footage of snowfields, bodies of water, industry and research stations pass by, while a narrator from the near future reports on an investigation whose object remains concealed. In the meantime he reflects on the border as a political construct, the intangible, mythical power of nature and the expansion of fossil-fuel extraction to areas that were virtually impenetrable before global warming. Humming, growling machines provide constant background buzz in this subjective exploration of a landscape where past and future meld. Northern Drift is an aesthetic, philosophical investigation of mankind and its environment – a relationship akin to shadow-boxing.

By concentrating on speechless, plotless situations, she explores the timespan between the already and the not yet; the time of potentiality.
