Soul City Punk rock group FLESHTONES perform the song "Soul City," as tiny black & white cut-out figures, (with hand-tinted flesh tones), against a flickering background of brilliant color. In the film, Jones 'recycled' the same basic movements of his subjects by reconstructing totally new motions from the same severely limited amount of footage. This was done through alteration of perspective, and reversal of selected movements at varying intervals. The number of movements a subject can make, artificially created from a few basics, becomes almost limitless once an understanding of what motivates activity in that subject from the beginning is achieved.

Uro Elise (16) is home alone after yet another fight with her parents. Infuriated she starts throwing things around - when suddenly she hears a large bang coming from the street. There's been an accident. A young man lies motionless on the pavement next to his moped. He's surrounded by three other guys. One of them looks up and catches Elise staring at him. Moments later the door phone rings. It's him. Could he come up and call an ambulance? Something about him intrigues her. She lets him in. While he calls for help, another guy appears. A struggle for power in the apartment begins that will teach Elise a few things about herself.

The God of Clay A 2011 tokusatsu kaiju short film produced by Dream Planet Japan and Marbling Fine Arts. Initially directed by Nobuaki Sugimoto, it was completed by Koichi Kawakita. It is based on the 1993 children's book of the same name by Masamoto Nasu. This was Koichi Kawakita's final film before his death in 2014.
