POWER In a groundbreaking project developed by MISCELLANEOUS Productions, a group of multi-barriered youth collaborated with a team of professional artists on POWER, an evening of solo performance pieces, ensemble drumming and dance numbers, all of which take a raw, honest look at the things that matter to youth in the community: power, racism, immigration, poverty, violence, sexism, addiction and love, presented at Vancouver’s Rhizome Café. This documentary focuses on four young artists -- Roberto, Natasha, Dakota, and Michael -- showing their struggles and their transformation through performance.

Badradri Ramudu Ramudu (Taraka Rathna) is a youngster and also a 'chekka bhajana' performer in Bhadrachalam. When his grandmother forces him to get married, he falls in love with a 'chekka bhajana' learner Seeta (Radhika) and marries her. Immediately after the marriage, Seeta gives a slip to Ramudu and returns to her homeland Germany.The real reason for Seeta's act is due to an advice from her astrologer. He said that her first marriage would not work out. Her marriage is fixed with her bava Ravi and she loves him too. But she does not want any complications in her marital life. Hence she marries Ramudu at Bhadrachalam and ditches him to go back to Germany and marry Ravi so that her second marriage would be fruitful. The rest of the story is all about how Ramudu with his chekkalu and Lord Rama's vermilion (kunkuma) fly to Germany to fight his aunt Jagadamba (Vani Sri) and bring back her daughter and his wife Seeta.

Mythri Deepu's (Navdeep) dream is to make a music album and become famous. He approaches a channel head Murthy (Brahmanandam) who, impressed by his concept, offers to finance the shooting and also suggests his obese secretary as the heroine. Disappointed first, Deepu takes up the offer as he has no choice and chooses an old bungalow for the shoot at a secluded spot. As work begins, Mythri (Sadha), the owner of the property, arrives for a short stay and Deepu convinces her to be the heroine of the album and removes Murthy's secretary. Meanwhile, the death of a unit member and a series of strange incidents take place. The unit leaves after the work is wrapped up without any doubts. Deepu stays back with Mythri and unravels the mystery of the house. Towards the end of the story, the mystery behind the deaths and the strange incidents is revealed.
