Persian Series #1 This hand-painted and elaborately step-printed work begins with a flourish of reds and yellows and purples in palpable fruit-like shapes interspersed by darkness, then becomes lit lightning-like by sharp multiply-colored twigs-of shape, all resolving into shapes of decay. Double Suicide Elegy Mashiro works for a law firm in Kagurazaka. It takes 2 hours for him to commute one way. Kyoko works at the counter in a real-estate agency in Yurakucho. It takes 2 1/2 hours for her to commute one way. They meet each other in a 'double-suicide room' in Nishi-Shinjuku on a pre-arranged day. They are in love and planning to die together.

The Central Dogma: From ... This animated film was made by RIKEN Omics Science Center for the "Beyond DNA" exhibition at the National Science Museum of Japan. The filmmakers attempt to illustrate how molecular machines interact with each other according to the central dogma, with an anime look. This approach helps people (especially kids) to identify these molecules more easily, and to understand how they function in the body. There are two versions of the film: one with English narration and text, and another in Japanese.
