Lover, Beloved In this experimental blend of film, theater, and music, Suzanne Vega reinterprets two talks Carson McCullers gave at the 92nd St. Y in NYC. During the first, in 1942, she drinks her way through the lecture, revealing messy romances and illnesses. In the second, 25 years later, she confronts her mortality, reminiscing on her novel and play The Member of The Wedding; also on her twice failed marriage and romances of both sexes, ending on the credo she forged with her husband. Agape love matters in this life, not Erotic. Ironically, Carson McCullers, despite her compassion, is destined to solitude.

To Be a Ghost A ghost actor haunts his screen life, and is haunted by it, to the clicking of a projector. What you see is scraps of film under a microscope, with its sprocket holes, oily colour, and accumulated fluff and dust.

Master's stuff The house was inherited after the death of her husband's father and mother. On behalf of her busy husband, she helps her husband's younger brother, Young-jun, sell the house. While filming the house with the camera, Young-jun was joking around taking pictures of her brother-in-law, Nam-joo, who could not resist her sexual desire and had sex with her sister-in-law, and her body was gradually added to the things of the master who is different from her husband.

1960::Movie::Still This video contrasts the moving and the still image. A sequence was taken from the iconic film L'Avventura made in 1960 by Michelangelo Antonioni with Monica Vitti . The soundtrack is a train trundling at night through the Carpathian mountains towards Bucharest.

Song Lines The sound of clapping hands and voices of two African girls orchestrate the thickness of vertical black lines. Colour fringes appear over the white spaces between the lines, making it also work as an installation piece.

The Pez Outlaw Steve Glew, a small-town Michigan farmer, boards a plane for Eastern Europe soon after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His mission is to locate a secret factory that holds the key to the most desired and valuable pez dispensers. If he succeeds, he will pull his family out of poverty and finally find a purpose in his mundane life.
