French filmmaker Eléonore Huisse and sound artist François J. Bonnet visit their friend Éliane’s home in Paris in times of social distancing and lockdown to explore questions pertaining to solitude, imagination, retreat, the inner voice and temporality – questions that resonate with Radigue’s work, philosophy and way of living as much as with the acute collective experience of suspension and isolation brought about by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Flooded House On June 14, 1973, the House of Dafne Larrosa in Uruguay, was raided by the military of the dictatorship. She and the members of her family linked to the Tupamaro National Liberation Movement, were arrested and her brother assassinated. Dafne manages to escape to Cuba, where she recieves political asylum. After more than thirty years of exile, Dafne returns to Uruguay. Returning to the house was like a tunnel of time were childhood and old age, the living and the dead, reality and creation coexist at the same time.

Transparent, I am. In the year 2020, when the world was forced to ‘change’, I wanted to confirm what changed and what did not change in me. The white mask I wore became the screen projecting my past.
