In Search of Happiness Exotic wilderness, foothills of the Caucasus. Architect Alexander and artist Marina with their young son Ilya settled here almost 30 years ago. They left the big city in search of peace, solitude and freedom. Ilya grew up in the forest and in the mountains. Now he has the Internet – the only source of communication with the outside world. The relationship between the heroes, externally built on love and attention, internally is full of Chekhov's drama... The film raises the acute social problem of the so-called “downshifting” – a departure from civilization and living as hermits.

Ioann & Marfa The film in a fictional and documentary form, relying on an associative video sequence, tells about the events of Russian history at the end of the 15th century – the time of the “gathering of Russian lands”, when the troops of the autocratic Grand Duke of Moscow John III defeated and conquered the Novgorod Veche Republic.
