Sonja p Bornholm... A reunion with Sonja from Saxogade, the children's TV star of the 1960s, who in this film spends her vacation on Bornholm and is visited by her mother, Jytte Abildstrøm, wearing high heels and a bouffant hairstyle, at the campsite near Gudhjem. Freddy Fræk is her boyfriend, and Jesper Klein collects butterflies.

On the Great War's menu:... In August 1914, war was declared. Millions of soldiers moved to the front and they had to be fed. There was need to produce, supply, manage and distribute food. A new war economy was needed. It affected not only the armed forces, but also economy, education, health, agriculture, industry, and the propaganda services. In order to feed 80 million soldiers and to supply essentials to civilians, the resources of the whole world were being mobilized. Our current organization of food circuits owes a lot to innovations of the Great War.
