Dog Days

Kindheartedness Permeate... This humanitarian coming-of-age story depicts the everyday life of ordinary people like those, whom you may pass by in your neighborhood daily, but would not pay much attention to. The characters in the movie find hope and the path for their future while coping with each one’s own crisis, conflict and changes in their lives.

PPP Premiered in the framework of Bafici, Seized Files: Film School is the second collective feature sponsored by the Museum of the Cinema of Buenos Aires, this time with propaganda series produced during the fifties, aimed at a young audience also protagonist of them. The more re-concentrated nature of materials, less heterogeneous than events intervened "first project use old newsreel "Sucesos Argentinos"", makes that the movie has a more cohesive character on the back and return of the same images, flowed through various searches of each Director, creating different looks and uses. In this case, the director wanted to out his 'intervention' in all senses of the word, just like Prividera's previous feature films. In fact, in these few minutes is both using the file how in the beginning of Fatherland (2011), and the intertitles deployed on M (2007), in base a quote it reconsiders those old images and words looking for its resonance in our present.

Our Dance of Revolution This untold history of Toronto's Black queer community spans four decades of passionate activist rebellion. Refusing to be silenced and raging with love, the featured trailblazers demanded a city where they could all live their truths free from the threat of violence. In the spaces they found for loud laughter and sweaty block parties, they also found themselves. Each bit of revolutionary ground was gained collaboratively, whether protesting police brutality, forming feminist collectives or making room for grief and healing in the wake of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Their transformative creativity and visionary organizing made Toronto more livable for generations to follow. Our Dance of Revolution celebrates the living legends among us by unearthing what has been made invisible.
