The Point This documentary is a portrait of Point St. Charles, one of Montreal’s notoriously bleak neighbourhoods. Many of the residents are English-speaking and of Irish origin; many of them are also on welfare. Considered to be one of the toughest districts in all of Canada, Point St. Charles is poor in terms of community facilities, but still full of rich contrasts and high spirits – that is, most of the time.

An Accident An architect in a construction company gets close to a young girl who has just graduated, whom he met while she was a student doing an internship at that company. Their relationship becomes more and more serious, and despite a few small frictions, they stay together. He is going on a business trip by plane to Libya. The plane crashes on landing. He survives, but remains immobile. Despite such an accident, she stays by his side.

Doppelgnger... A planet is discovered in the same orbit as Earth's but is located on the exact opposite side of the sun, making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane via spaceship to explore the other planet.
