Priscilla remembers her life and her relationship with Elvis Presley since she was 14 years old. When she moves to Graceland, she feels like a princess. But her lover, the world-famous musician Elvis Presley, is rarely at home and increasingly resorts to drugs. Nevertheless, she decides to marry Elvis. After a while, the fairy tale slowly turns into a nightmare and the two seem to become estranged.

Ink in Milk
Ink in Milk Ink in Milk is Wieland’s most recent film – a knotted string-figure of histories, fictions and images. Through the flickering vignettes of a schoolboy trauma, visits to a friend at a psychiatric institution and encounters with animals, Ink in Milk exposes the anxious, web-like structures that underpin the tragicomedy of existence. The artist’s narrative is accompanied by a series of schematic, childlike diagrams, line drawings, ink paintings, plasticine animations, and crystalline sculptural forms, punctuated with super 8 film clips. Sometimes these images illustrate the narrative voice as gathered evidence; at other points they are oblique documents, disrupting chains of causality.

Minka "Minka tells the story of the friendship between two children, Minka and Kany. Minka's father and mother have died. His step-father Karfa is the boss of the village community. Karfa's brother is owner of the source of income in the village, the granite mine, where many adults and children work. Karfa is a callous man who treats Minka badly. The girl Kany can no longer bear seeing Minka treated so badly. She calls on the children of the village to go on hunger strike. Karfa is furious, the terrible consequences are for Minka." - IFFR

Last Station

The play was premièred in 1986 in Edinburgh and went on to make a world tour.
