A strange old man lives in an illegally-built suite on top of a building. One day, a girl named Zhen-zhen breaks into the place and finds a way to spy on him through the window. With more frequent visits, neighbors begin to suspect that the old man is hiring prostitutes. Zhen-zhen's mother begubs to worry whether her daughter is with the old man. Misunderstandings and rumors between Zhen-zhen and the old man are intensified, but more scandalous secrets in her family are revealed.
