Filmed on both sides of the US-Canadian border before the transition to our collective “new normal,” every light returns – sinister bodies of water takes its inspiration from the possibilities inherent in gritty monochromatic filmstock; the landscapes of Essex Country and rural Michigan; and the hypnotic score performed by local musician JAG. I pushed the digital format as far away from a “clean” image as I could, trying to reflect the ambient feeling in the audio composition.

We Are Good
"It's not what you do, but how you do it that's really important". Following this motto, dance teacher Alan Brooks shows 25 vocational school students what they are capable of, and how they can master life with more confidence as a result. WE ARE GOOD is a gripping account of the fascination of dance, faith in oneself and others, enthusiasm, dedication, respect and lust for life - the dream of a tolerant and diverse community. The film not only spotlights dance and music but also existent social role models and shows how we can emancipate ourselves from them.
Parazit
A television production of F. Schiller's comedy with the eloquently ambiguous subtitle How to Arrange Happiness in Life. A story about a social parasite, schemer and hypocrite who shamelessly abuses human gullibility and good-naturedness for the benefit of his own selfish interests. The focus of this comedy lies primarily in the socio-psychological analysis of arivism and unprincipled careerism as negative social phenomena, personified in the figure of a ministerial official.
Ostrov
The author attempted to analyze the disintegration of the Slovak Army before the outbreak of the SNP and showed how the conditions grew for the army to join the Uprising. Through the characters of soldiers and officers of a small unit of the Slovak Army, deployed away from the events of the war, the play captures the suffocating atmosphere of expectation that existed just before the outbreak of the SNP.

Who am I happy
Alicia (15) lives in a care home and longs for recognition. One day, a new resident sits at the dinner table. Alicia notices that this boy is quite attentive and somehow different. A flirtation begins, but then it turns out that Mika is not a boy at all, but her new roommate Michaela. Who I Am Happy is a short film about the desire for recognition of one's own decisions, no matter how crazy they sound, and about the courage to stand by them - against all odds.
