Gary Numan: Big Noise Tr... Recorded at the HMV Ritz, Manchester in December 2011, this DVD captures the power, intensity and experimental textures of Gary Numan's recent critically-acclaimed Dead Son Rising album. The stage is often blitzed with light - strobes being used like weapons for the set's biggest anthems. At other times, everything fades, almost to blackout, with the viewer sucked into the darkness for a few moments before the heavy light-assault explodes into life again. Then cut to the images on the screen as each track is illustrated with slogans, graphics and burnt-out, degraded films. Dead Son Rising was a very special tour and Big Noise Transmission is a fantastic document of one of the artist's finest shows.

Richard III - version 3.... The Santa Marta Acatitla Prison Theatre Company performs "Richard III version 3.0" an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play from 1633. An amateur dramatics group has been turned into the first professional theatre company inside a Mexican prison. The prison is located south/west of Mexico City lodges about 3 000 prisoners, and has both male and female wards. The culture program started in 2010 and is supported by Foro Shakespeare, founded by Mexican actors Bruno Bichir and Itari Marta. The play "Richard III" has been updated to deal with current events, corruption and lack of future.

Divine Bow There is trouble in a fishing village on a remote southern island. The catch has been meagre and Wang-nyeoni, the local shaman, is on strike: she refuses to perform a ritual to turn fortunes around. In flashback we learn how she married into a shaman (dang-gol) family, tried her best to help her husband succeed as fisherman, but found both their lives blighted by Pan-su, the village boss and main ship-owner. After agreeing to return to duty, blessing the fishing fleet, Wang-nyeoni will serve up cold revenge in spectacular style.

The Lady of the Palace Sayedat Al-Kasr traces the history of the Joumblatt family of Mount Lebanon from the 17th century to the present, focusing on early 20th century leader and politician Nazira Joumblatt. Born in 1889, Nazira ascended the throne of the Moukhtara palace in 1923, following the assassination of her husband Fouad and the resignation of her brother Aly Joumblatt. She presided over the region as Lady of the Palace for twenty-five years while raising her son Kamal, preparing him to take his place in a long line of Jumblatt leaders. Famous for her wisdom and strong personality, Nazira boldly entered the Lebanese political scene at a time when this field was entirely dominated by men. Unwavering, she contributed to maintaining peace and stability in Lebanon for many years, earning the respect of men and women, whether Druze or Maronites.
