Onyx Bruno lives a psychological drama arising from a strange affecting connection with his grandfather, a former political prisoner in the 70's. Near his house, he meets Caio, a troubled man who doesn't accept his own essence. The encounter becomes intense and sensitive as both expose their weaknesses, memories and melancholy.

Ice Cream Discourse A mixed-media installation project developed based on my video work, ” The first United Ice Cream Assembly closes today ”. I combined static video, live streaming news, found-object-based sculpture and scent together to enrich the context of the alternate world in “The first United Ice Cream Assembly closes today ”. In this project, a sugary scent oil was sprayed on several artificial ice cream installed on microphone stands. The static video and the news live streaming will play together. The former is set to a higher volume, but audiences could hear the sound from the live streaming more clearly when the static video goes to a 30 seconds silent transition before the next loop. The project intends to explore media representations, relationship between our daily life and the media, and how incidents are transformed into information by the media.

Rockabilly Hall of Fame band, Big Sandy & His Fly Rite Boys, performed their rockabilly, rock & roll, honky-tonk, R&B, soul and doo-wop music around the world many times in the past 25 years. This rockin’ quartet is often considered torch bearers of American roots music. In this episode, we explore the plethora of song elements in their vast category and experience the inspirations of the man behind the band, “Big Sandy”. On Tour is a music and performance program recorded live on location at local venues in PA, NJ & DE.

Impossible Dream Impossible dream is made with an idea of inter-cutting car commercials to discuss cultural surfaces and their meanings created by the media. By combining clips grabbed from different car commercials as well as adding my own compositions, I created an absurd fantasy with ambiguous narration as our self-reflection, to examine meanings conveyed by the media. The background music is grabbed from a car commercial which uses the song, The Impossible Dream, originally composed by Mitch Leigh & Joe Darion.
