We Are Postmodern A 14-years-old girl begs for money on the street with her mother. A guy about the same age gives them a coin every day he passes by, pushing his bicycle. Days are passing by, all the same, the call of the mosque scans time. One day the mother dies. The girl now begs alone for money and wears her mother's burka. The young guy passing by this time gives the girl a flower instead of a coin.

North Cross This film is inspired by the calm oasis at the centre of North Cross roundabout in Plymouth and the contrast between the activity of walking and the relative high speed chaos of traffic. It highlights the curious physical movements that are walking and celebrates the successful complete separation of pedestrians from vehicular traffic that the roundabout achieves. Made as part of the Cafe Concrete Plymouth City Project.

Dreaming of the dream of... Dreaming of the dream of the dream is a 16mm projection consisting of images of waves that come and go continuously. The artist has assembled extracts of cartoons in which water is visible (the sea, bubbles, a stream, waves, etc.). Somewhat nostalgic, these extracts can recall either childhood cartoons or paintings by Hokusai. The continuous movement of the waves echoes the presentation of the film which also loops: a metaphor of life, a cyclical and continuous movement which nevertheless cannot be altered. The more the film is shown, the more the images become worn. The images progressively disappear with the scratches on the print. In fact, the work itself has a limited lifespan since the artist insists that the film should never be copied and that it should be shown until the images have entirely disappeared.

1, 2, 3? Award winning short documentary that demonstrates women's problems in Afghanistan. The film consists of 3 parts: 1. The women who are self-immolating and the reasons of self-immolation. 2. Underage marriages. 3. Those sorts of women who are referring to attorney for solving their family problems.
